Alaskashipwreck.com. “Seal (1887). The small steamer Seal was lost in Lynn Canal north of Berners Bay March 20, 1887. 12 persons were lost in the disaster. The vessel was said to be travelling from Juneau to Dyea with passengers, freight and mining gear.
