Bombardment Squadron as a Private and Radio Operator of an aircraft during World War II. 2nd Lieutenant [notes private above] McCauley was killed in the crash of U.S. Army Air Corps B-29-75-BW Superfortress #44-70092 at North Field, Guam. Nine other servicemen also perished. He is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington…Virginia…”
