“Narrative: The C-130 was on final approach to Little Rock AFB, AR (LRF) when it collided with a USAF Cessna T-37B Tweet training jet (59-0322). The trainer was on a cross country training mission from Big Spring-Webb AFB, TX (BGS) Both [jet] pilots ejected safely.”

Baugher: “Lockheed C-130E-LM Hercules….1813 (c/n 382-3775, 16th TAS) collided with T-37 NE of Little Rock AFB, Arkansas Feb 19, 1972. All 5 onboard the C-130 were killed. The 2 crewmembers of the T-37 [trainer] ejected safely.” (Baugher, Joseph F. 1962 USAF Serial Numbers. 11-26-2011 update.)
