NCDC: “High temperatures were below freezing for the first 18 days of the month. February 4th and 5th were the coldest with high temperatures at Chicago O’Hare Airport of only 2 above on the 4th and 5 above on the 5th. The coldest low temperature at Chicago O’Hare Airport occurred on the morning of the 5th, 10 degrees below zero.
